Profile
Hartford Technologies produces Soda Lime glass balls and
Borosilicate glass balls. Applications include check valves for chemical,
pharmaceutical, food processing and fuel systems, and grinding media.
Precision glass balls are available in matte, polished or ground finishes.
Hartford precision glass balls can be manufactured to a 100,000/10,000
clean room standard. To ensure the highest quality, a unique high-speed
visual inspection system 100% confirms the diameter, roundness,
and purity of each ball.
Precision Glass Balls from Hartford have:
• High corrosion resistance
• Light weight (1/3 of stainless steel)
• Low coefficient of friction
• High dimensional stability
• Tight tolerances
• Non-magnetic
• Zero porosity
• Stable material cost
